A 71-year-old man has been airlifted to John Hunter hospital after an accident on the Howell Rd on Friday afternoon.
Police say he was the sole occupant in the Mitsubishi triton when the accident occurred at around 1:30pm
The man was able to get himself out of the vehicle prior to emergency services arrival sustaining a laceration to head however is condition declined on scene post collision.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called in to treat the man before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for further tests and treatment.
