Life Saving Courses available in Inverell

Royal Life Saving will be conducting Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)and Swim Teacher courses in Inverell in February.

Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) covers the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Times:    5:30pm to 6:30pm

Cost:     $54.00

Currency: 12 months

Swim Teacher is a fun, flexible and dynamic job. It is also a point of entry for a career in the aquatics industry. The first step in becoming a Swim Teacher is getting qualified.

Royal Life Saving Swim Teacher is a nationally recognised course that provides candidates with essential competencies to teach swimming and water safety to children aged 3-12 years. The Swim Teacher qualification is perfect for school leavers, university students, and part time workers who are looking for a role, whether that’s here locally or anywhere else in Australia that people might be heading for university or life.

Details of the Swim Teacher course are as follows:

Times:    9:00am to 5:00pm

Cost:     $395.00

Currency: 3 years, with annual licencing requirement

This course will cover the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
