Several Inverell Highlander juniors have been selected for the Northern NSW U17’s squad as part of the NSW Rugby Youth Program.
Ella and Alice Gleeson, Matilda and Eliza Thompson have been selected in the Under 17s girls’ squad while Cody Ubergang has also made the inaugural under 17s Boys squad
Six Under 17s girls teams will compete in a 3-day tournament in Bathurst from the 16th to the 18th of January, including Sydney West, Sydney North, Sydney South, Hunter/Central Coast, Northern NSW and Southwest NSW.
The tournament presents an opportunity that includes the chance to line up against a touring Canadian team – the Calgary Saints
