The weather may play its part this weekend in Round 4 matches in the Inverell cricket competition with forecast of rain for both tomorrow and Sunday.

Glen Innes will host their first home game of the season when they meet Square and Compass at King George Oval tomorrow.

Glen Innes, who’ve have shown some early promise this season, registered their first win last week and will be looking to build confidence against Square & Compass who are coming off the bye.

In the other game, reigning premiers Staggy Creek meets Delungra at Varley Oval, looking to remain their unbeaten start to the season.

Matches kick off on 1pm.

Meantime, Inverell will host Moree in round 2 of the Connolly Cup at Varley Oval on Sunday but the forecast of wet weather this weekend could force the game to be abandoned.
