The Inverell community is being invited to attend one of two community consultation sessions being held in Inverell as part of the Inverell Shire Council Transport Study 2025.
The purpose of the Integrated Transport Study 2025 is to assess current and future transport needs within Inverell Shire. The study will identify key challenges and opportunities in the transport network to support sustainable growth and improve mobility for all residents, businesses and freight needs. A key component of the study is stakeholder engagement, to ensure that the findings and recommendations align with broader community and economic goals.
These consultation sessions are intended for the Inverell Shire community. We are seeking your input on local transport issues, opportunities, constraints, and areas of concern. The sessions are scheduled as follows:
Session 1
Venue: Council Chambers
Date: Thursday 30 October
Time: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Session 2
Venue: Council Chambers
Date: Friday 31 October
Time: 10.00 am to 11.00 am
To assist with planning, please RSVP by 5.00 pm on Wednesday 29 October to Nicole Riley at Nicole.Riley@inverell.nsw.gov.au or by telephone 0267288200.
If you are unable to attend either session but would still like to contribute, we encourage you to participate in our online engagement platform which will be available shortly. The survey will be open from 29/10/2025 until 26/11/2025 and will be accessible via Council’s website.
