Inverell trainer Todd Payne had his most successful day ever on local tracks leading in 4 winners on the Bundarra 6 race programme.
The PAYNE stable started the day with DESERT COUGAR, followed up with TWENTY FOUR GUNS, winning the Cup with SHAMEDY and finishing the day with A TENT HUT.
He has now won 3 of the past 4 Bundarra Cups.
Another local Ridge Wilson broke a drought when PURPLE ESPRIT saluted.
On a very warm day racegoers flocked to the revitalised Bundarra course in their hundreds justifying the hard work of the committee.
