Inverell F.C have claimed back-to-back Northern Inland Premier League titles after prevailing 1-0 over Moore Creek in a close tussle in Saturday’s Grand Final at the Sports complex.
Riley Schutz kicked the winning goal early in the second half with Inverell F.C thwarting several Moore Creek attacks as they pushed for an equalizer.
1st grade coach Damian Shutz says his team showed true grit and determination to get the win and was extremely proud of their efforts.
Shutz singled out Player of the Year Brent Pedlow who had another standout performance.
Inverell F.C celebrations will need to be put on hold as they still have their commitments in the Regional Super League finals in Tamworth where they’ll meet Coffs Harbour’s Northern Storm F.C in a semi-final on October 11th
