Holy Trinity School’s Under 14’s rugby league team have tasted success at the NSW u14’s Small Schools State Championship played in Bathurst this week.
Holy Trinity had qualified for the final after defeating Gilgandra in a semi-final at Coonabarabran 44-20 three weeks ago
The team claimed the state title on Wednesday after defeating Sacred Heart Cootamundra in the final, winning 38-10 with captain and Lock Dustin Taber and 5/8 ollie Smith starring for Holy Trinity.
Team manager David Koch also praised Ben Butcher and Nate Reynolds for their fantastic display of teamwork, respect and skill.
