Grand final berths are up for grabs in the AFL Northwest competition with the Inverell Saints waiting in the wings to see who’ll they’ll face in premiership deciders next week at Varley Oval.
The Tamworth Swans will face a rejuvenated New England Nomads in the men’s Preliminary Final while the Gunnedah Poochettes will go into the Women’s prelim final as hot favorites against the Tamworth Kangaroos at Wolseley Oval.
The winner of both matches will meet the Inverell Saints at Varley Oval next Saturday after they advance to the big dance after winning their major semi-finals last weekend.
