Weekend rain forced various sporting events in the region to be postponed.
Winter Race Day meeting was abandoned by Racing NSW stewards on Saturday following a track inspection.
Racing NSW stated in a post that 10mm of rain had fallen on the track on Saturday morning with the prospects of further rain falling, resulting in stewards deeming the track surface was unsuitable for racing.
Meantime, Inverell F.C had their scheduled games called off after grounds were closed due to the wet conditions.
