In racing news Inverell trainers had a great day out at the Moree Christmas meeting on Saturday racing three of the six winners.
Jo Methven celebrated her first winner since returning to the track 7 weeks ago when BETTER TOMORROW won the Class 1 and Maiden Plate.
This was followed by IRISH ARTHUR giving Brodie Fenton just his second winner of the calendar year, and Ridge Wilson’s extraordinary run continued when LESGO DON led all the way to win the Class 3.
The Inverell Cup Carnival commences on Boxing Day with the Goodwood Cup being the feature race, and then on New Years Day racegoers will see the $45,000 Inverell Cup and $50,000 Brian Baldwin Super Maiden.
