Applications for the 2026 Sapphire Wind Farm Community Fund Round 2 are Now Open.
Twice a year, Sapphire Wind Farm invites local community organisations to submit applications for a share of funding that can be used on equipment and infrastructure purchases, repairs and renovations, and programs and events.
The aim of the fund is to support projects and initiatives that contribute to communities within the Inverell Shire Council local government area.
Earlier this year, Ashford Showground Trust benefitted from $18,000 to strengthening Boundaries at Ashford Showground Reserve, Inverell Art Gallery received over $17 and half thousand to purchase Air Conditioning, Security cameras and monitoring system and portable smart board while Macintyre High School P and C Association received $15,000 for the Sapphire Community of Schools Combined Musical.
