Nominations for the 2025 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards are now open to recognise someone who has contributed to their community
The New England community has so much to be proud of, and every day, volunteers donate their time, skills and services to ensure that it stays that way.
The Awards program has grown to become one of the largest celebrations of volunteering in Australia and last year, more than 139,000 nominees from over 500 organisations were recognised at Regional and State Ceremonies.
There are seven categories including Young, Adult, Senior, Volunteer Team, Emergency, Volunteer Leader and Not for Profit Voluntary Governance of the year awards.
If you know someone who deserves to be celebrated for their community service, make sure you nominate them before Friday 23rd of May through the Centre of Volunteering website and spread the word that nominations are now open.
