Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that roadworks will be undertaken along Chester Street between Mansfield Street and Wood Street with works are commencing today, Monday, 10 March 2025, and continuing for approximately 12 weeks.
During this time the works will be under traffic control including a full road closure with access to local traffic only. Residents will have access to their properties where possible. Members of the public are requested to exercise care and consideration when travelling through the worksite.
Inverell Shire Council also wishes to advise that despite the roadworks along Chester Street, garbage and recycling bin collection will be occurring as normal. Residents of Chester Street between Mansfield and Wood Streets are to continue placing their bins at the front of their property, for a Monday collection.
